Ok, in previous threads and videos, we have established that the MAX spec for a Lenovo Thinkpad T420 is as following : Intel Core I7 2860qm, 16GB RAM, SSD, and 1GB VRAM Nvidia 4200m.

Now, is it possible to setup a RAID config with two SSD's in the Lenovo Thinkpad T420, for 240 GB storage in total?

Possible if mobo supports it, but why?

Yes, but don't use mobo raid, and a t420 will be cpu limited will be your limit.

A Hyperthreaded Sandy Bridge i7 quad core with 8MB of cache and speeds between 2.5-3.6ghz paired with a Nvidia 4200m and you think it's the CPU that will be the bottleneck, huh?  I'd like to see you back that point of view up.

I have one with a single ssd. When opening programs, im cpu limited, but depends on what your doing.

Also your running these ssds over a slow sata bus, a single pcie ssd would be much faster.
