None of them offer so much better performance that its worth differentiating...  Just pick the one that fits your budget, looks, and preferences.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

So wrong, if you don't want a heater in your room you should get XFX, if you want an overclocker (and YOU HAVE VERY GOOD COOLING) get the Saphire Nitro +

They're all going to put out the EXACT same amount of heat... they're the same chip!

So you're saying that a blower cooler Asus card will stay as quiet and as cool as an MSI GAMING X?

The xfx gtr 8gb is the only logical choice for a well informed buyers, if you compare their pcb's and performances(coolers, power draw, overclocking), it stands out of the bunch.

The msi gaming X is also a decent choice with a slightly better cooler than the xfx gtr, but the overall quality of the xfx gtr is still better

No, I'm saying they produce the SAME exact amount of heat.  BTW, ASUS only made 500 of the reference designed RX480s... you cant get one anymore.

The MSI has gr8 reviews

Ive built an RX470 system and it was MSI based, was 8-10c cooler than the Sapphire RX470 in another system.

Cant knock MSI's efforts.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

MSI is good on silent, however XFX is the EVGA of AMD

If I were you I would watch some reviews of the different models as well as the pcb analyzis that are available out there, this way you too will become better informed and avoid falling in the trap of some random joe telling you to get the terrible powercolor red devil one...

Does not mean they are cooler or quieter.

Brand is gr8 in some cases...

But I would be more concerned with how the card is setup.

Sapphire make theirs run fast, but sacrifice temp limits compared to MSI.

The fan profiles and power limits on the cards are different brand to brand.

It's  something to watch out for..

Putting a Sapphire RX470 in any small case and its at 80-85*c pretty quick, same case with the MSI and its 10*c cooler, or better.

It was the most feature, it has an awesome cooler and more! (Plus Multi-Monitor Support)

This is an MSI alternative, has other design if you don't like XFX RGB Cooler.
