Cable Management outside the PC?

I recently got a HTC VIVE setup 50 FT away from my computer.  By doing this I have created a mess of cables.  The cables are 2 HDMI Cables (one for vive and one for monitor) and an Ethernet cable which is used for the USB.  Can I but the cables under a rug?  How could I better organize my cables?

Try to only run them along walls, holding them down with adhesive tidies or staples if and where necessary.

run them under the floor (basement?) or hollow out the baseboards on the wall xD

 

I had to make a few holes in the floor to run my 7.1 around the room.  Furniture keeps them all hidden very well

If you're careful, ie not incompetent, then it's fairly difficult to tear anything. I've been using them for years to run telephone and Ethernet cables around my place, works well enough if you don't mind damaging the woodwork slightly.

As far as I'm concerned, it's best to prevent any kind of damage from taking place. Hence, it's probably best to attach tie-down points onto the wall, and using zip-ties/tie-wraps. Even so, you can squeeze the tie-wraps too tightly, and "choke" the wires.
