Problems with the Corsair K70 LUX RGB after CUE update: 2.8.7

Quick an easy fix I found to this:

You need to perform a Soft Restart

1. Unplug the keyboard from the PC.

2. Press and hold ESC

3. Plug the keyboard back into the PC (Whilst still holding ESC)

4. Hold the ESC key for 10 seconds then release.

The keyboard should flicker and should now work :)

To put it straight, the keyboard has stopped working. The usb port and the LED's are all working fine (besides the fact I cant change the colours), it's just that the keys don't type. Also when opening CUE I get the "No device detected!" message. I've had to go back to a less attractive keyboard for the time being, anyone know any fixes?

I've tried Re-Installing CUE and Re-Installing Windows.

(CUE Version: 2.8.70)

OS: Win 10

have you tried roling back to the previous update? or does this cue thing update the keyboard internally? because if it updated internally than it probably bricked itself.

I wouldn't know how to go back to the previous update Just went back to 2.7.78, no difference. I'm guessing that CUE automatically updates the firmware itself internally, wondering if I could of corrupted it some how?

After everything I've tried, it has to be down to the keyboards firmware, do you know of anyway to reset it?
