just build new pc.

i just finish building my new pc. like just now. when i connect the HDMI and RGB nothing came up. do i have to do something before i connect them or what?

what should i do? btw the pc run fine.

CPU i5 6500

GA-H110M Gaming 3

GPU Gigabyte GTX 1060

HDD 500GB WD

 

please help. thanks.

Try flipping the switch on the back of the power supply if nothing is turning on.

What did you connect the HDMI in? The motherboard or the graphics card? That's a common mistake people do.

 

And what do you mean by connect the RGB and nothing came up? What is the RGB you are referring to?

no back switch. the is on but signal.

i connected to the motherboard. Analog RGB (old school)

RGB means "red green blue" and refers to a light that can display many colors. Are you talking about VGA or DVI?

Mate... The 3.5mm jacks on the motherboard are audio jacks, not analogs...

 

You need to connect the HDMI cable from the graphics card to the monitor directly.

my bad because in the back of the tv it says that. so its a VGA

back on the tv says analog RGB lol. so i have to put the HDMI at the GPU? ok ill try it now.

HDMI and the VGA. so if i use the HDMI do i have to connect to the GPU?

Yes, if you have a GPU never use the video ports on the motherboard. Also, you don't need to use two connectors unless you have two monitors.
