so whats your opinions? id rather 8 gb of ram but i cant get 8 gb of the z series :/ (ps the z series looks better)
8 gb of ram is also 100 dollars cheaper.
case is personally very appealing for me.
i may order the psu from amazon for 125 usd which is around 150-160 nzd excluding shipping.

Looks good, but do you really need 16gb of ram?

you might want to swap that WD blue for a Seagate barracuda, if the seagate is more expensive for some reason don't worry about it, they're close enough.

nooooooooo no 4 AMD CRAP CPU

do you ever contribute anything useful, like ever?

I'm sorry what!?!

don't mind the troll, just leave him be to play by himself

What's the system being used for?

I'd bump up the 750D. The 650D uses a ghetto usb 3.0 passthrough from the back that isn't exactly elegant.

probably should have listed that, itll be my main computer, for gaming, photo editing, video editing and everything else i think i could throw at it, the gtx 780 came down in price by about 400 dollars for new zealand, it was either that or the r9 280x which was around 200 dollars cheaper.

later i plan to custom water cool the cpu and gpu (gonna cost around 500) :/

gtx 780 was at about 1100-1200 nzd

now its down to 861-900 nzd

the r9 280x was about 500 to 600 nzd

(doesnt sound as beast though)

What programs do you use?

If you're watercooling, I'd wait for the Linus crew's results for a waterblocked 290x first if you're not in a hurry

The 280x and 780 aren't really comparable. It should be the 780 vs the 290x.

just a future project, want to over clock the gpu/cpu aswell,

i found the 750d for 20 dollars more then the 650d so im going to get that.

as for how intensive the work is, itll just be what ever is there :o

in a few years time im wanting to be a computer hardware engineer, diagnosing/trouble shooting pcs, building rigs etc, buying this rig as my first official gaming computer and for the experience ill gain from putting it together and buying around with the settings

Oh alright. The system looks fine so far. I'd get 2 sticks of ram instead do that you can expand later if you want to: http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f31866c9d16gsr

Also, less sticks = less problems.

Are you planning to sli?
