Battlefield 4 random FPS drops?

minimoose

I get an average of like 75 fps, but sometimes it drops to like 45 for no reason, I don't even move sometimes, and then it stays at 45-46 FPS for about 50-70 seconds sometimes longer!  Is this just problem with the game?  Or do I have a virus, bad overclock or some program running in the background which slows me down?

Depending on the environment the FPS always drops in games ;)

I have a 3570K at stock speeds, a GTX 760 overclock at +130-+300 8GB of RAM, ASUS P8Z77-v LX.  45 FPS is fine, but I am worried why I go from 75 to 45 and stay there and not go back up right away.  BTW it happens less in other games so I think it is mainly BF4 but it does happen is other games is this mormal?

Fps drops are pretty normal when more stuff is happening on screen. Like Levolution or intense 20+ ppl battle, explosions etc.
