I have two builds, but not sure which one to build and upgrade later.

System usage:

Workstation: drawing and 2d animation. Will be using programs like krita, pencil 2d, synfig

Gaming: as of right now, I only play osu and terraria. That's all.

Build one: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FyvQKZ

Build two: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dszdGf

In the end, I'm will upgrade everything, ram, gpu, etc. Btw, is it hard moving files from one drive to another while saving program settings? Say, I'm moving all the important stuff from my hdd to a ssd that I got in the future?

Thanks!

Eh, I'd rather save up for the 1060 6gb. I'm not a big fan of the 3gb version. Also, I can't add it to my budget.

The build says 6GB for the 1060 not 3GB

Cheapest 1060 6GB is the Zotac Mini at $222.

Oops, I'm sorry, I missed understood what you meant. I was looking at the 1050ti build and I thought you meant that I should substitute it out for a 1060 3gb. My apologies.

Edit oh, I'm also a but wary about single fan cooled cards. I know the 1050ti probably doesn't run hot, but even so, I'm wondering about that fan noise at load and temps for a single fan vs a dual cooler.

Fans have improved over the years even at under load it shouldn't give out unbearable noise. It should be tolerable for most users. Go with build #1 the one with the 6GB GTX1060.
