3. should have a idk "I don't know" option.

4.There is no 8+GB used while gaming to select.

Vote submitted. I would go with 1080 SLi because I already own a 1080 but in any other case I would prefere a 1080 Ti. That was what I originally wanted to go for but I had been glancing at an upgrade for my 770 -choked by 2GB VRAM - since about the middle of the 980 Ti era therefore i jumped on a 1080 whne it was available locally and I am really satisfied. Now my 3770k is bottlenekcing it/ it is totally fine in 1440p depending on the game. BF1 is about as perfect as it gets but Forza Horizon is just fucekd up with the first core pinned to 100% as long as the game is running and another 4 being stressed as well. I just need more single thread power for 1 Single core and I would be fine in every game.

My CPU is an i7-980X and despite its age it still plays games beautifully unless they're single-thread-only, like Heroes of the Storm.

Multi-thread is absolutely no thang, though. I get the same performance as a stock 6700K + GTX 1070 in Doom, the most stressful game I own, even though the 980X is nearly seven years old.

I play a lot of HotS though, so I'm gunna wait and see what Zen delivers in order to see if upgrading is worth it, but overall I'm really happy with my performance.

As for that last question regarding 1080 SLI or 1080 Ti, I wish there was a "Neither" option. Lol.

Current Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti FE

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Tuf X570 Plus Wifi

CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53

PSU: EVGA G6 Supernova 850

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

Current Laptop:

Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900HS

GPU: RTX 3060

RAM: 16GB @3200 MHz

Old PC:

CPU: Intel i7 8700K @4.9 GHz/1.315v

RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z CL16 3200 MHz

Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A

Well question 5 I put am2+ because I thought you meant fm2+, and for question 7 I put am3+ or older even though I believe fm2+ is younger.

I5-4670 is pretty much a beast still at 1080p gaming, and im sure it outperforms my GTX 770, bottleneck per bottleneck wise xD!

I would really like a GPU upgrade (most of the games i intend to play are more graphically demanding nonetheless, and only a few of the modern titles like DOOM 2016 that supports Vulkan can run at Ultra (with some lowered settings), 50~65 fps on multiplayer or 60~75 on single player. Ofc, i would like to see how a 1440p display would look like (I already have seen it on phones, but its an OLED display with nearly 550 ppi, which even vs the best computer monitors, surely is more spectacular to look at, i suppose), but hey, some things are more of a priority right now, than a display and a CPU (:
