My first gaming pc build

Hello everyone, I'm here to show off my first gaming pc. This is actually quite special to me as it is MY computer. I've grown up using a lot of computers and always had some around the house. The case I used in particular has been in my family since the early 2000's. It was part of a build my dad had done at that time. Not sure of the brand but it does have built in lighting . Down to the fun stuff now...the parts:

ASUS B150 PRO GAMING/AURA Motherboard(Budget board but I'm happy with iy

Intel Pentium G4400 (SKYLAKE)

G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x4GB DDR4 RAM @2133MHZ (Mobo would only allow that speed)

DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX300 CPU Fan/Heatsink (Ended up not it using because my mobo was supported by 6 out of the 9 standoffs, I didn't want the weight to put stress on it but I will install when I get more standoffs or a new case)

EVGA 400w PSU

SAPPHIRE RADEON HD7950 3GB OC DUAL-X (This GPU was just given to me, not sure if it worked or not when I got it. Apparently it was in a build that had liquid cooling that leaked and killed the mobo and supposedly this as well)

Western Digital Blue 1TB HD @7200rpm

ASUS DVD Drive

GPU works great and I'm enjoying 1080p gaming. This GPU was very good in 2012 and still runs newer games well.

I believe these towers were coolermaster or galaxy, but man were they popular at the lan parties I used to goto, that bubble effect at the front was the shiz.

Yeh I love the retro cases as they were the ones I worked with alot and they started the flare of making your rig look pretty.

 

Don't be afraid to refresh it up either as most tower parts are universal, Fix the gaps in the back and front by stripping them off an old tower.
