Curve Monitor for Desktop/Programming Work

davidst95

Hi, I'm sure this is a novice question but I'm looking at buying a new monitor.   I am deciding on either the Acer Predar XB321HK 32" or the Acer Predator X34 Curved.   Both have IPS panels and have G-Sync which I would like.    I enjoy playing games a  lot but I work at home a few days a week as a programmer.   Could someone who used a curved screen for non-game use tell me their experience?   I think I would prefer the X34 because of the 100mhz refresh rate.   I also like the 32" inch because its 4k although it's 60mhz.    I have a ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ROG STRIX OC Edition.   I think it could handle the X34 without any issues and do pretty well with the 4k monitor.    Thanks for any advice.

Not from my experience but users on the internet doing office work on a curved monitor doesn't seem logical because applications don't "line up" so to speak. I guess it's weird to explain, maybe someone can hop in here. Im looking for something that can be good for games but not hardcore but also regular work like Active Directory, web browsing, whatever.
