Does the PSU supply 4 x 6-pin PCIE connectors or at least 3 without using an adapter?

yep, only supports 2way cf. SLI and CF are a waste of time anyway, buy 1070 instead of 2x970

idk

Ya only Z boards support SLI.

600 would be just enough, but that board won't support SLI, so you would need a new motherboard. You need at least 8x pcie lanes to run SLI, you only have a 16x and a 4x.

No, it's up to how many pcie lanes you have. you have to run 8x 8x or higher, he can only run 8x 4x. As long as your board has 2 8x plus lanes, sli will work.

True, but I think on the non-Z boards you have the high potential to bottleneck your video cards with the CPU not being all that great (depending on the specific CPU anyways), so doing SLI on mid-range cards would be a no-go, least in my opinion.

Let's start off by saying I doubt your board supports SLI.

Second, don't SLI 970s. Get one single better GPU.

Third, do not attempt to power two cards on a 600B. It's not that great quality or performing and should not be powering two GPUs.

|PSU Tier List /80 Plus Efficiency| PSU stuff if you need it.
