Need Help Learning About AMD

I just heard about Zen yesterday (I know I'm late to the party ig) But I'm looking for budget parts and the Intel CPUs always seem to (from what I can tell) perform better, especially when it comes to games, so I never took the time to learn about AMD sockets, CPUs, etc. I actually want to see what will happen when Zen releases and I'm hoping prices will drop at least a little bit. So, where should I look to learn about all the AMD CPU stuff? Also I'm 13 so dumb it down a little for me lol

I'm very familiar with the Nazi history and I haven't heard anything about them making a comeback anytime soon...
