Gpu should not be compromised for liquid cooling.

An hyper 212 evo is a plenty good cooler on a processor that doesn't run hot.  It will alow for some moderate overclocking too.

Looks over performance isn't a good strategy. Ideally you should have both. It doesn't make much sense to spend 100$ more and downgrade the gpu for aesthetics tweaks when the Ops posted build will look fine.

Oh yeah, never looked at the price.

I can can confirm that is a scam. It was discussed on the forums a couple days ago. There have been large amount of posts for $400 dollar 1080s and they have never delivered.

If you wanted you could get a Cryorig H7 cooler. Better cooling and fits in better with the white mobo, however it is about £10 more expensive. And seeing as you're obviously in the UK you could also get a Palit GTX 1070. Theyre one of the best (and cheapest) on the market right now

I honestly hate peoples tlking about bottlenecking, especially on hardware that won't even come close to bottlenecking. Check these Benchmarks-

It's not amazon selling it, it's a third party using amazon as a marketplace. It is a scam.

edit-

Going to say right now, the i5 won't be able to do 144Hz gaming at 1080p, the 1080 will be bottlnecked. I'd really suggest getting a GTX 1070 and even then it is still going to bottleneck at 1080p 144Hz gaming. The i7 helps stop the dips the i5 will have when playing at such a high frame rate and overall have a much higher minimum frame rate.
