Rate my setup

Hello fellow people,

please take a look at my setup. 

- i7 4790K @ 4.00 GHZ 

- EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 FTW Superclocked Edition *

- Asrock H97M Pro4

- 16GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 RAM

- Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD 

- Western Digital Blue 1TB HDD

- Corsair H110i V2 liquid cooler *

- be quiet! Straight Power 10 500W PSU 

- NZXT S340 Elite case *

 

* means I currently have other parts, because I built this PC in summer 2015. But this is what it is gonna be in June 17.

 

How do you like it? Will it run every game I can imagine within the next years in 1440p resolution @ 60hz ?

Not sure if you can overclock on h97 motherboard

Did you own ddr3 ram or i7?

You cannot not overlock a H97, but it doesnt matter to me since I would not do it anyway. I bought everything except the * stuff in 2015.

Should have wait a bit more back then since i7 6700k and i5 6500k was released on August 5

But I don't blame you. Haswell i7 looks really nice.

Solid build although not sure why you bought a K cpu when you're not overclocking and a watercooler (asthetics I guess?).

 

It'll technically run all games at 1440/60hz but maxed out? Not all the latest titles but you'll be able to run high to very high settings.
