New Z170 Mobo's soon??

Go to solution Solved by zMeul,

Z270 boards will be launched soonTM, and will offer 4 more PCIe lanes compared to Z170

it will support 3 m.2 PCIe 4x SSDs while Z170 is limited to 2

also 200 is the 1st Intel chipset series to support Intel Optane SSDs

I am planning on building a pc around a 6700k and was thinking about purchasing the asus deluxe z170, and i was wondering now that 7th gen with be released soon should  I wait to get a deluxe II (Mobo refresh for Kaby lake??) like what has been done with the x99 series??

Thanks

There won't be any noticeable difference with new z270.
