When you open DaVinci Resolve, just create a new project.  Before opening the project, right click on it and change the project settings.

I'm not really good in this department, regardless I'd like to help.

You have to FPS's which you will encounter (mostly).

Your 'recording fps' and 'editing fps'.

If you record your video in 60FPS but want to lower that, you can do that in the editing software (Sony Vegas, iMovie not as far as I know).

You can also record 30FPS and make the 'output' 60FPS. I think that's also able in the software.

dont blame me if I'm wrong, just trying to help :P

If you have no clue, you shouldn't even try.

I cant figure out how to change the fps that it renders the final video into.

If what you're trying to do is take, for example, a 25fps video and render out a 50fps version in DaVinci Resolve what you need to do first is set the project to the final frame rate you want to use.  It will make it easier for you to do what you want.

If you have no idea about the software in question, don't even try... it wastes time.  Not helping will be much better than trying to help and failing.

You know what, you're right.

Now let's stop this conversation which doesn't add to the question at all.

Ok thanks

Every time you start a new project in Resolve, you should always check and make sure the settings are what you need for the project.  It's even more important to do so now that they've added support for HDR color grading in Resolve and YouTube has enabled HDR video.
