Automated Desktop Layout on Start-up?

No, I'd like something similar to how easy that is, but that would tab into "Work Mode"

If you could use the multiple virtual desktops feature in windows to automatcially open different programs and/or instances of programs in different workspaces that would do the trick i think.

Hey there,

I don't post too often but I have a question that I figured would make me feel a lot more productive at home. I'm a third year CompSci/ProManagement student and I honestly get distracted by Overwatch, and a bunch of other stuff really easily. So I have this idea, that when I turn on my PC, Chrome loads; with a tab of my Google Sheets which has all the work I need to do this week, the calls I need to make and also a bunch of other life stuff, as well as my other tabs. (This bit was easy), just set chrome to launch at start-up and set chrome to open the tabs I want as I go, however here is where maybe it gets more complicated?

I'd also like it if I could hit like a buttom on my taskbar that allows me to switch from whatever i'm probably doing *Youtube, Hearthstone and whatever else*, and tab into Word, Sublime, Filezilla and have them all arrange on my desktop neatly so I can just begin work like that.

I feel like in my memory Windows 7 used to do this, but I wanted to know if anyone else has a similar set-up / desire and has a super effective way to do it?

Not sure if there is a better way, but you could make a batch file shortcut to open all the programs and connect that to a macro to have easy access. Only downside is that you would have a batch file somewhere on your computer.

Something like this: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/launch-multiple-programs-single-shortcut-using-batch-file/

Might add this later...

Alt + Tab lets you swap windows pretty easily. Is that what you're looking for?

qυoтe мe pleaѕe!

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."

Hmm... I'll take a look around. Sounds like a good idea.

That's literally it. I'd forgotten the name.

Winkey + tab, make a new desktop, sit my work there. Beautiful.

Thank you <3
