I just got a h100i v2 because the stock fan sounded like it was going to take over the world

no, it;s more than that

the 212 with LED has Aluminium spacing between the copper heatpipes while the 212EVO keeps them close together

the 212EVO is superior, but 6500 doesn't need that much cooling - the boxed cooler will do it's job just fine

Hyper 212 LED has a plastic backplate if that matters to you.
