You mean duster? Id just get a air compressor.

A duster is easier and quicker to use though. Just plug it in, use it right away.

With a compressor, you have to wait a bit until the pressure builds up before you can use it, not to mention the horrible noise while it's doing so.

You will also need to buy the hose(the kind that tangles easily and/or is way longer than necessary) and blow gun separately, which in the end will cost more than a Datavac Metro ED500, which not as noisy, easier to put in storage until you next need it due to it's smaller size, overall faster to use, no hose to untangle, less risk of damaging your parts with the higher air pressure from a air compressor air, etc...

An air compressor is good and has it's uses, especially if he will also use it for something else like air powered tools/inflating his tires. But if all he would use it for is dusting off his PC every 6 months, not worth it.
