Try checking your cpu abd gpu usage. Theres a chance the 2400 is bottlenecking since battlefield is cpu intensive

My cpu usage is 99% on all cores and gpu usage is jumping

Yea that is a cpu bottleneck. Im not sure which settings help reduce that. But turning up resolution and some settings can help make the game look better and use more of that extra gpu power

i5 2400 is a bit bottleneck to your GPU

With that said, it will bottleneck mostly in those CPU heavy games.

Other 90% of games will run just fine.

Sadly BF1 is one of those games that are using a lot of CPU.

It is not in my knowdlege why they decided to put so much workload on CPU rather than GPU.

Is it worth to upgrade to i5 2500k or i7?

Only if you have a P67/Z68/Z77 motherboard already. If it's anything like H61 or H67, your money is better spent on new hardware. Kaby Lake is around the corner so Skylake and Haswell chips should drop in price on the 2nd hand market if budget is a big concern.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro
