whats the difference between the rmx and hx beside the rmx is fully modular, and the hx is semi

also, why is m.2 worth it? isnt it significanty faster for about the same price?

thats basicly it, hx and rmx. sorry, i made a mistake, get the rmx750, or ax 750. ax is top of the like quality corsair. thats what i have, ax1500i. m.2 is not worth it. basicly the same speeds, for a lot more money. no,

yes

the traditional ssd: Sequential Read 500 MB/s Sequential Write, 260 MB/s (128k Transfer)

the m.2 ssd: Max Sequential Read, Up to 1775 MBps, Max Sequential Write, Up to 560 MBps

doesnt matter, it looks good on paper, but it doesnt make a difference

for $25 more and 50% faster i dont see why it wouldnt be. maybe you just chose a bad m.2 :P

i have a top of the line 512 gb samsunng 850 pro m.2

im sure going to this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0153P9SEK/ref=psdc_1292116011_t2_B00V01C6M8

would make a difference: Read Speed: 2500MB/s, Write Speed: 1200MB/s

but it also costs way more.

also, these benchmarks show that m.2 is faster:

only by a few seconds, but of the two im comparing, the m.2 is only $20 more than the sata, also that would leave one more sata spot open for hdd's later, although that probably wont matter much xD

also @Bajantechnician i really do appreciate you sticking with me on the 1070sli vs 1080 discussion, however, the 1070sli costs more, and i can barely afford the 1080 xD the current config is up at 1979.37, plus i wanna get some rgb strips. im gonna run this system for like 6-8 years until i just cant anymore, and will completely milk it for all its got. my current system ive had for 5 years, and probably wont last the rest of this year.

Do you have to buy Windows 10? I use it without a license.

im aware that thats possible, but i wonder what the drawbacks are. do you know?

Not really much. The only drawback I have is not being able to change the image of the login screen, but the Windows ones are so nice anyways it doesn't bother me.

It also locks you out of the customization tab of settings, but there's an alternate way to set your wallpaper. You can just right click an image and click "Set image as desktop background".

Oh and there's a small watermark around 1" by 1.5" in the bottom right corner of your desktop that says "upgrade to Windows". I deal with it though. It's not worth paying $80-90 to get custom login screens and a small watermark removed.

so there are no truely bad things about the unactivated version? if not, then thank you a ton!

so, random sidenote:

with reguards to this video:

3:58, im confused. if i get this: https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-widebeam-magnetic-rgb-led-strip-60cm/ where do i get the cable he is saying i do need to use. is that in here? https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-widebeam-magnetic-rgb-led-kit-60cm/ so i would have to get one kit and one strip? except on the single strip one it says i dont need the kit if i have asus aura controlers, which i do. so do i then just plug the rgb strip straight into the motherboard?
