Nope. Completely relevant. Mainly because I'm afraid you might think you're monitor is great, when it really is not using the graphics card to its full potential.

TBH, unless you getting that RAM for the aesthetics, you could save quite bit of money by going for a less expensive kit. Typically, RAM doesn't have a large impact in performance that justify a ~$50 premium that you are paying over some of the 2x8GB kits.

Anyways, my recommendation for the PSU is still the RM750x. It's a high-end, quiet PSU with a 10 year warranty. You could also get the 850w variant for $10 more or $5 more after MIR if you want. Alternatively, you could get the EVGA Supernova 750w G2 for $99.99 as well.

Well. They both support 2011-3. According to their website the gemini524 supports up to 47mm. What ram is 55mm?

You mean Dominator Platinums? Do you really need those? I guess if you needed those you could go AIO. I would suggest waiting for one of the new NZXT AIOs but it might not fit the color scheme well.

im sorry, yes dominator. and yea sadly. when comparing latencys and speeds they turned out to be the most cost effective in the ddr4 category within the limits of my mobo

Na, it's just more of my recommendation. They have pretty good customer support, not that Corsair doesn't... And they look pretty sick. I've also never seen an NZXT one leak, but that might just be me. Dunno.

If you like the Corsair one better, you might want to buy it because of the Platinums. The two are very similar within margin of error. (X61). X62 ones don't come out for a little, forgot you were in a hurry. And the NZXT ones are as popular as the Corsair ones and they've both been out a while. One thing is Corsair might have made tweaks, because I think theirs has been out longer.

yea the h100i v2 leaks much less than the plain h100i, its fine, im past the deadline. i got the cyber monday deals on the important parts, but not all. its ok, i only have the PSU and case to choose. and i probably wouldnt get a deal on those anyway. also, now that i have time i can explain why the screen resolution was irrelivant. I had already thought that out that yes, i will be running just 1080p for a little while because thats all ive got, but i need the performance for work right away, and will be getting a 4k monitor later and then can run that in 4k, or 1440 since games will run better at 1440, but the 4k will be amazing to have all that space while editing

Okay then. I second the RM750x recommendation, it's also what I have in my rig. For a case... comes down to what you like. All glass? Tempered Glass side panel? No windows? Your choice. Just pass it by the community first. Some cases are not really friendly. Since you have a high budget, you should be mostly okay.

i had a different reccomendation for this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PHckcf/corsair-power-supply-gs700

because under normal load it id use about 425W and when overclocked and max load be at approx 600W so I wanted to leave some headroom, but idk if i need 150W, what do you think?

as far as casing i like big windows so i can see all the parts, ive got a few options im looking at

Don't go with that power supply. GS line is pretty old.
