Hay guys I'm from England and need a gaming/editing PC. My price is around about £1000 possibly less. I want to be able to play 4K games at high settings with a good fps level. The case is a nzxt s340 and my psu is an ax 1200i. Need help as soon as possible and my theme is white and black

So, do you already have the case and power supply and you have £1000 for the rest of the build or have it already but are including it in the budget or something else?

So my GPU & CPU cost around £700 on their own and are unable to play most games at 4K High.

 

You'd need to spend about £1000 on GPUs alone to get close.

Do you already have the psu and case? Do they count towards the budget? Also 1200 watts is an awful lot... You really don't need that much wattage, unless you found the psu on a good deal.

It doesn't have an ssd and I listed an approximate price for the cooler but even then it's still a little under budget. You mentioned you wanted it to be black and white so I made that the theme. If you need a copy of Windows you can get it from r/microsoftsoftwareswap or somewhere like kinguin for £30 or so. If you want an ssd you'd either replace the hard drive with one and live with the smaller space or have to spend extra. This won't be able to run 4K high settings at 50-60 fps but it'll do a decent job. You can't really get that much higher performance at this price range than this.

No no I'm not saying you can't do 4K. I'm just saying not to have your expectations too high. 4K is possible, you just can't play it at high 50-60 fps.

 

If you want 1440p you could probably get it at ultra 60 fps or high at 80-90 fps.
