Your only downfall is that I don't believe that i5 to be compatible with your motherboard.

not compatible, completely different socket.

Shucks! Any motherboards that might work?

you'd need an extra 50 at least to buy a new motherboard.

Personally I agree with @herman mcpootis with the used i7.

All my parts except 3 are used. Even my cables are used.

You'd save money and it'd be a better build imo. You may be able to afford a 1060 which I think would be better.

h110m pro-vd. recommend just going with the 3770s/fury x plan instead.

I mean I would try to use used parts but the prices for those fluxuate so they aren't easy to tell what the price would be so I'm just sticking to normal.

go and check ebay when you're going to buy the parts, than decide. but i don't think it'll be much different from now.

Thanks for the advice, looked up the cpu from earlier found it at 170. Ill factor that in.

Should all this be compatible with my current dell?

Does your dell have a pcie x16 lane?

It'll look like the longer ones:

a CPU that'd be compatible will have the same socket name your current CPU has.

Your cpu is an lga 1155. Only intel processors will work in that socket.

only 2nd gen and 3rd gen intel core series processors will fit, not just intel processors.

Allright

If that's the slot the gt 610 fits in then yes.

There's a 99% chance it will fit. The only 2 things limiting are the lanes below the lane, and if the case is long enough. I'm fairly certain it will fit however. What's your dell model number?

I checked the previous pages and saw you said inspiron 620. If this is your PC model:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/162272865559?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true

Then yes. The GPU will fit. I hope you're not running windows vista however. Just a hope.

Similar but not the same. Mine is windows 7 home premium, had the i3 2120 3.30 ghz. Right and with that I go to sleep.
