it doesn't quadruple anthing.

Min I would do is i5 6500, or get what you have currently and then upgrade the CPU when you can.

I mean I would be spending more in the long run not just getting the 6500 now. I'm gonna try to budget it.

nothing really wrong with it. Good deal on that i3 I must say. normally it's like 150 USD.

i3 is kinda underrated but we'd like to hook you up with an i5. It is the best price to performance ignoring Pentiums.

RIP Pentium. I want to use the i5 6500 but I don't think I can budget for it. I could dump most of  the money I was gonna spend on steam sale games onto the 6500.

he tried to share his list but he shared the link wrong. I was curious to his suggestion. He's keen on an i5 and I wonder what he did to budget an i5.

If your talking about hermans list, he wasn't able to, but he added a lot of budget room. It was auto generated I think so I might just recalculate a couple things.

the i3 6100 is always at $110, rarely see them change in price.

This is awkward but how do I save your parts list to my list of parts lists?

same bar as the permalink; there's a button that says 'save as' on the right side.

I meant the think free, or free thinker user. He had a list.

You said you have an hdd already. why not re use that for games? Increase your games budet by 40 USD. I picked up 5 games for 17 dollars last night on steam.

@herman mcpootis

As for i3 being 110, woops. I forgot the MSRP.

older hdds are fine, won't really be too much slower than a new one. can recommend bumping that i3 to an i7 3770 and change a few parts instead of a new pc.

I mean your right. Theres probably enough viruses on this thing to hack the pentagon though.

why not just upgrade that pc? Save a lot more money.

Case and HDD are probably the only things I can reuse. If I kept those could I keep Windows 10?

Edit: Budgeted to get a 6500 for not too much more https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mgnYQV

format the thing and you'll be fine. if its an OEM copy you'll need a new windows cd-key. why can't you use the other parts btw?

I mean I probably could reuse the motherboard and ram if slow ram wouldn't impact gaming.
