Best GPU That Requires No External Power

csakstar

Hello,

My friend is finally looking to upgrade his graphics card from an r9 360, which came with his prebuilt. As a result of his PC being a prebuilt, I was wondering what would be the best graphics card that doesn't require an external power connector? I'm going to assume it would be a 1050 ti but I figured I should check with the experts first.

Thanks,

Csakstar

While everyone's here, would this card be capable of playing Dark Souls and Overwatch at 1080p60? Those were the two games giving him the most trouble on his old card.

The 1050Ti is going to run all games at high-ultra settings at 60fps. 1080p of course.

Some 1050Ti models, like the Gigabyte's G1 Gaming version, do require a 6-pin connector.

Make sure you check the card's specs first.
