GTX 1060 6Gb or 3Gb?

To start off, here are my current specs. I am wanting to upgrade to a gtx 1060. not sure which one to get though. 

 

Current Specs:

- Intel Core i7 3770

- 16gb 1333 mhz 

- Asus GTX 780

- Thermaltake 600W PSU

- Asus 1080p 2ms gaming monitor

 

You are probably wondering what games i play. I play BF1, squad (terribly optimized, in alpha), Stars Wars Battlefront, GTA V...  HOWEVER, I like playing these games with supersampling, so im thinking I should lean towards the 6gb card, as I try to set the resolution around 1440p levels, then it downscales to 1080p, results in a more detailed pixel. To my knowledge, going from a 780 to a 1060 is actually a big performance jump, as the 780 is terribly optimized.

1060 6GB for sure. A 3GB has cut down cudas not just vram. So definitely get a 6GB if you can.

Go for the 6GB model. The price for the 3GB models aren't low enough to matter.

which model would you recommend? I would prefer a cheaper version of the 1060 6gb.

If you want a cheaper version maybe consider the gigabyte one.

Is this even a question? The 1060 6GB, of course!  I can max out anything at 1080p and get over 60FPS easy.
