Microswitch keyboard or similar?

I've been wanting to get a mechanical keyboard for a while now but have been resisting because simply hate the feel of every Cherry or Cherry clone switch I've tried. I've not had the chance to experience other type of switches in person like Romer-G, Hall Effect or Topre but from the descriptions I've read they have the same problem as Cherry. Specifically that they can travel before activation, which to me just feels all kinds of wrong. 

 

There is a mechanical switch that I have tried and that I really do like the feel of. That being the microswitch. But I've never heard of a keyboard that uses microswitches. For those that don't know, microswitches are what the vast majority of mice use. Does anyone know of a microswitch keyboard or if one of the other switch types feels similar?
