Cryorig H7 w/ 6700k?

Hi!

 

I'm planning a build for 1440p, and I need feedback on the build, but especially the CPU cooler. Can a Cryorig H7 properly cool a 6700k? What about if I overclock it to around 4.5 Ghz?

yes, it'll be fine

not sure about OC potential, but I loved mine on a locked chip

Thanks! What would you recommend for overclocking? (The less expensive the better)

for overclocking, I'd suggest something like an NH-D14/15 or Cryorig R1 Ultimate/Universal

Does an h100i v2 outperform those coolers you recommended?

I think they're about equivalent

but I'd always pick a nice air cooler over an AIO any day

I think an h110iv2  would be a few degrees lower, not by much though.

What's the difference in performance between the ultimate and universal?

I think it's just black/slightly different fan design
