which keyboard?

I am trying to help and friend buy a mechanical keyboard for his setup. Which ones out of these is the better one? Also should he choose Red or Brown switches? He is buying this for his work setup, so it is going to be used for typing out long documents and excel.

I am leaning towards the G610 purely because of the minimalist and "floaty" look. Both of them seem to have mx browns which is a good switch for typing and gaming 

 

edit: downside to the G610 is there's no included wrist rest.

Are they both constructed of solid aluminum?

The G610 has a hard acrylic plastic body. Still pretty strong though

Personally I'd go with the G.Skill KM780.

The build quality is significantly better than the K70.

As for switch type, that's honestly something you'll have to get him to find out himself. Everyone has different tastes, and no one can say which switch type he'll end up liking best.

The thing is that it is his work setup. He wants a fairly non gaming simple looking keyboard, not one that looks like it is for gaming.
