Thoughts on my planned upgrade of MB+CPU+RAM?

This is continuation of this thread:

I got my new case (Define R5) and now I'm going for a component upgrade. See the other thread for more info on what I plan to use the computer for. I've received a gift card for a particular store so my component choices are somewhat limited. My budged is ~600€ and the goal is to purchase a new motherboard, CPU + cooler, and RAM. I've gone over the components in the store and picked out the best ones as far as I'm concerned. My selection is most limited with the motherboard and cooler but I don't think there are any issues with those. I would like to know if anyone has any comments regarding the compatibility of my new build or suggestions for different components. I've gone over all the specs to the best of my ability and as far as I know all parts are compatible but I'm not a 100% sure about the RAM as it did not appear in the qualified vendors list of the motherboard.

PCPartPicker list of my planned build including most of my existing components. I am aware my GPU is old, I will upgrade it later.

In short I plan to buy the following components:

Motherboard

Asus Z170-A LGA1151: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/Q9Gj4D/asus-motherboard-z170a

I also considered Asus SABERTOOTH Z170 MARK 1 but the integrated fans can apparently be loud and not that I really care but the board looks really weird. Asus Z170-DELUXE was also a possibility but is rather expensive. They are all different versions of the same board by pure coincidence. I went through about 60 boards comparing them with Specout and picking the one with all the features I need. (I.e. USB 3.0 which simply did not exist in any boards under 100€.)

CPU

Intel Core i5-6600K: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/gx648d/intel-cpu-bx80662i56600k

I checked out various out i5's but this one had the biggest numbers on cpubenchmark.net and 4 physical cores instead of 2 physical with 2 logical each which sounds better to me.

Cooler

Probably Noctua NH-U9B SE2: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/Y4fp99/noctua-cpu-cooler-nhu9bse2

120mm, cheap, Noctua, and fits the socket. It works. I considered Cooler Master Hyper 212X but the Noctua one is probably quieter with the larger fan. On the other hand the Cooler Master has a greater fan speed range which also sounds good to me. I'm a little on the fence with this one.

RAM

Kingston FURY 16GB (2 x 8GB): http://pcpartpicker.com/product/jzfmP6/kingston-memory-hx421c14fb2k216

I definitely want 2x8 GB to allow for future upgrades. I'm pretty sure the motherboard supports it. However according to the spec sheet the XMP profile doesn't differ from the stock speeds? I don't think I need to overclock the RAM but the motherboard allows for it so I guess it could be nice to do.

These 4 components come to about 600€ in the store I'm going to get them from.
