AM3+ Motherboards with no HDMI??

uzi
Go to solution Solved by Godlygamer23,

Most of the motherboards have no integrated graphics, and the CPUs that are supported do not have integrated graphics. That's why.

Hey everyone I had a question regarding why every single high quality AM3+ motherboard doesn't have any video output ports.

No HDMI

No VGA

No Nothing... except optical..

I wanna get a decent motherboard but i found that I'd have to buy a $40 hdmi to usb adapter to use it on my motherboard.

My ECS 960M-MV had integrated Radeon HD 3000 graphics and an HDMI port. I would imagine manufacturers assume you will be using a dedicated graphics card with a high end motherboard anyway, and leave it out to cut cost to offset important features.
