Need help with choosing i5

I am thinking of getting the core i5 6400, but the 6600k is a little under 220 and i was wondering if the 6400 would be ANY different than a overclocked 6600k. I am aware of what happens after a base clock-clock and am just asking for an opinion.

Consider you have to get a z170 motherboard and a decent cpu cooler to compliment the 6600k, I say if money is an issue 6500

If not and you can shell out the extra cash for the worth performance, than 6600k

well 6500 is a sweet spot unless you overclock then get the 6600k

linus just released holidays buyer guide, if you tight on a budget, 6500 is very good and decent enough for gaming
