I can't really help you but I do know that the m50x has no noise reduction.

well he said he wants a gaming headphone, so why dont just buy a headset that has "gaming" label?

I just need a pair of good headphones with noise reduction that will work for gaming under $200 most gaming headsets don't have that

If you want the best audio setup, for the price. Get what I have.

Audio Technica ATH-M50x https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86/ref=sr_1_cc_1?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1480054078&sr=1-1-catcorr&keywords=audio+technica+athm50x

They're an amazing pair of headphones and are very comfortable as long as you don't wear glasses.

and

Blue Snowball Desk Mic https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Snowball-iCE-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B014PYGTUQ/ref=pd_lpo_267_bs_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=0P098VT99FH87JDRTRYF

You can even get a arm mount for about $13 somewhere on amazon as well.

Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 80 ohms (this wrecks m50x anytime of the day) + modmic and you have a good gaming headset.

You don't need an amplifier cos nowadays motherboard are plenty to power the headphone.

Iirc @Dackzy has them and he is not happy with them, after a while that is.
