Should i buy an optiplex with an i7 ?

Im kind of in the lowest budget, but 2nd gen i7 are still cool. and i though i could just put a gpu there and play. could i ? would it be convinient ?

Yes, put a 1050 ti inside and enjoy gaming bliss, although getting a copy of windows 10 later along will help with playing current games.

 the ones in ebay ussually come with windows :) tho do you think i could upgrade from the 1050 ? would the i7 handle it ?

yes the 1050 ti will work great, but i was talking about grabbing windows 10 for dx 12 games

Oh dang, that psu is that low on wattage, my bad then. but 1050ti is still a good choice.

Just a reminder to OP, some (i said SOME), optiplex model use half height expansion slot. So just double check on that. And 1050ti is available as full slot and half slot (msi announce it, but i have no idea if its release yet)

Not without a PSU upgrade for the 1060. 

 

MAKE SURE that other people have done graphics card upgrades for that same model of Optiplex. Some of them support GPU upgrades, some don't.

the mid tower version has a full slot so he will be fine

Mmmm... but where am i supposed to check the slots in the optiplex. i mean there is like almost no info in their spec sheets
