So I bought a Xeon X3430 and used it with a stockcooler included with my i3 530. It also has a copper plug under it(model no. e41759-002). It idles at 45c - 55c but whenever I play games such as Elder Scrolls online or Guildwars2, it reacher up to 70c - 80c sometimes 80c - 90c. Will my proccessor be okay with this temperature? My PC haven't overheated yet im just worried.

If you are reaching those temps while playing games, I'd hate to imagine what your temps will be if you place a really heavy load on that CPU.

Bottom line is you need a better cooler.  I'm sure that you'll be fine as long as you don't push heavy workloads, but why continue to use a rig that is limited?

Well, im out of luck when it comes to budget, and besides i have this rig for almost 6 years now. I only bought the X3430 because its cheap asf. (10USD) Im planning to use this with a 750ti or a 1050.. Will this make it better or worse? I know this will bottleneck but they are better than my gt730 when it comes to performance.

My CPU have run at 80 C in games for 4 years, its just fine.

but you should run like AIDA 64 or something to see the temps then.
