Gaming FHD 1200$+-

guylederer0

Hello everyone

I just decided to buy I new PC

I allready have my "super high level rig" in my mind

But it's to expensive right now

So I wanna start on a simple gaming 60h FHD ultra setting for now

I don't mind do to O'C but I rather save as much as I can

My budget is around 1000-1200$ but I can't find a way to lower without damage the performance and experience

Thanks for the help

If it's just for gaming, I would go for a 144 Hz monitor instead of the expensive IPS monitor. Maybe something like an ASUS VG248QE.

To lower the price, you have a load of options:

1-Get rid of that cooler, use the one included with the CPU box

2-Get a cheaper 1080p monitor (that is one expensive 1080 60Hz monitor)

3-Get 8GB now, upgarde to 16GB later (most if not all games today will be fine with 8GB)

4-Get a cheaper SSD, maybe a trion 150.

I would pick 3 and 1, and seriously either pay the extra bit to get a 1440p 60 hz monitor or get a cheaper 1080p monitor, this one seems too expensive for what it is.

I can get 8gb the problem that the prices of ddr4 is gonna get higher in the long run

About the monitor you have any suggestions so I can check it out?

I'm waiting to black Friday and maybe catch a nice deals

But I want to be fixed on the part list

Well if you want to cheap out get this one:

Or if you want to pay more you can get this one:

And there are many others, just take a look at pcpartpicker lists and look for professional and user reviews.

Also, what makes you think that the DDR4 prices are gonna get higher?

I would get 16 GB's. It's nice to have. A lot of games can use 10 GB and plus he might have a lot of tabs open or something else.

Just because the game used 10GB, doesn't mean it needs 10GB. (And please don't cite Black Ops 3 or that Arkham game, they are poor ports).

No, but I would personally get 16 GB's. If he has a lot of background processes and stuff running on his PC Windows can make use of the extra RAM. I usually have around 3 GB's in use when I first startup my PC with nothing running.

About the monitor

My budget it's 250$

I don't mind to go 1440p if there is a recommended monitor that has good reviews and panel

Looks good

The problem from my side that if I'm changing to a 1440p

The 1060 is not gonna perform good

So I will need to go with 1070 at least

:/

Desecins Desecins

Just lower some damn setting and you'll be fine. The 1060 can do mix high/ultra on 1440p.

If I'm allready buying I would like to enjoy the full potential for me

( I know how to set graphic setting to maximize performance / quality

And ultra or filters can be expendable in some games )

If you're sticking with FHD 60 FPS for the foreseeable future, I suggest you to get a RX470 4GB or RX480 4GB with a Freesync display (75HZ from LG that are IPS). That way, you can save money and have a much more fluid experience.
