Vive help!!!

I need some help guys, I just got a vive today and tried it out and it is just flopping, like it can't get any frames or anything!!!  It's not working! Any help is appreciated!

did you install the vive setup?

also have you turned steam vr on?

since you say your not getting any display so i take it you havent done room setup either

so how far along the process did you go like ok you did the vive install from the htc site, then what?

any steps you went through, list them. ill see if i can see something you missed if you missed anything

 

also what gpu do you have. ive herd that vive doesnt play well with amd gpus, im on nvidia so i cant confirm this only had freds with the problem

What software are you trying to run? How exactly is it flopping, is it just slideshow framerate or are there also issues with tracking etc? Is SteamVR reporting any issues?
