Right click the internet icon in your system tray (so either the ethernet wire on top of a monitor picture or the wifi bar picture) > Open Networkcenter > Adapter settings > right click and go to properties of your current connection > double click the IPV4 option and tell me if there is a IP address configured there or if it's on automatic.
