Laptop Buying Guide

I need a Laptop that is small and well portable, purpose would be writing code and watching tv-series and light gaming but it has to be ultra portable and also have to have a long battery life, my budget is around $1000 and I can also get a little higher, I was thinking about razer blade stealth, help me with it
 
 
 
and also with light video editing, not rendering just editing

The stealth is an overpriced dual core. I would look at a Dell XPS 15 or I am surprised but the new alienware 13 laptop. They are a bit overpriced which most laptops are but the battery life and screen is really nice.

The AW 13 doesn't get the greatest battery life, but it is very powerful for it's form factor.
