I saw History of GPUs As Fast As Possible              

what would of happen if gpu was never invited and all graphics were handle by a software gpu run on the cpu and cpu were much faster I see one thing easy to upgrade pc just get a faster cpu

at lease when doing non gpu task you could use more of the cpu like for video edting becsue what ithough it will scall to what is need

but lets say you are doing GPU intensive shit, like running 20x 4k displays and only had a powerful CPU, the CPU would be POUNDED hard against the wall. I personally believe CPUs made by silicon can only do so much before it reaches its limit. Thats why GPUs exist, to split the work up. Like why can't intel make decent iGPUs? I honestly don't think they need too, because of DEDICATED gpus. it just makes the world run much faster.

I think they are fast enouth I saw what one could do when gaming on a 300$ laptop. If some want a laptop to move aroud and I have 2 game that run just fine on it but then one old game that is not compable and 2 that need and one that max out the gpu.

I  think if it happen cpu would be a lot faster.

 Like the speed of the 10 gamer system for one person

that is all I have say how fast do you think cpu would be if there were no gpu and same look game like

not very good. some CPUs get maxed already in GTA 5, so imagine a CPU trying to render the video output too, just not the calculations a CPU has to make already. a GPU divides the work out TREMENDOUSLY

I think it would take a 4 of Intel® Xeon® Processor E7-8890 v4
(60M Cache, 2.20 GHz) to run the game

memory cache for GPU runs around 7000 MHZ, CPU memory cache (RAM) runs at 2000 MHZ. the speed difference is HUGEEEE.

wait, i've seen youtuber overclock memory speeds or talk about at 7000 MHZ, not exactly sure what that means, but if its talking about cycles for memory, huge differance as what im saying. right now im going off memory, so i could be wrong.

That's the wonderful thing  about invention. It's driven by necessity. If we didn't have dedicated gpu and only integrated. Then either 

A) Intel would have to find a way to make iGPU work well enough for our current games

B) our current games wouldn't require such intense graphics (because no one could run them) 

C) we would find a way to make iGPU work for our games. Such as different way of coding it to cut down on demand

We wouldn't have 3D graphics. We wouldn't have CGI in movies. Not to mention no 3D animated movies at all.
