I'm starting to think either my power supply is losing power or something else.

I would also try a new power supply. When my brother, and I worked on my server build we got the same issue. We changed the PSU, and fixed.

Hi guys I just finished my new computer build. I'm at the point where I need to install windows but as I insert the USB drive and boot into it my computer will shut off instantly with a black screen. Any ideas?

EDIT: the internals will still be powered but I have a black screen.

Yes I have the USB as the first boot priority. I get to the start screen to start installing windows and then it just black screens me

no Blue screen of death? - the monitor just cuts out? Be more descriptive - does the monitor just cut out or does the entire computer die - if it's not that - which parts stop running - send a parts list too and a picture of the inside of ur comp

Removes the two old ones and still same results. I get the debug code 31 which is early CPU initialization after the screen blacks out.

I'm starting to think either my power supply is losing power or something else.
