Noctua Industrial 2000RPM vs 3000RPM pros and cons ?

Hi everyone ! I'm planning on getting two 140mm Industrial noctua fans for my radiator and was pondering wether to get the 2k or 3k RPM version. What are the pros and cons of each ?

2K = Less noise, good airflow and static pressure

3K = More noise but better airflow and static pressure

So it depends on the noise

I doubt you can bear the noise when the fan hits 2000rpm, never mind at 3000rpm unless you're deaf. In my opinion, 1500rpm is more than enough for a 140mm fan.

Fan control usually bases on %. With a slower fan, you have finer control of the fan speed.

Dont think they are static pressure what so ever unless they made more versions. Depending on the radiators fpi, I wouldn't get noctua. I use some on my low fpi 280 rad and they are great. Try them on my high fpi 360 and they are shit.

That beijg said, I would get the 2k. I'd never run then that high as it gets annoying. Not gonna be any real gains from going 3k

I will be using those fans on a kraken x62 eventually. Can't find the specs online for fpi thought, so can't tell if it's suitable. What fans would you recommend for radiators with high FPI ?

Any fan designed for it. The corairs seem to be the best overall. With more choices as well.

Since when 2000 rpm has become silent?

<1000 rpm should be noiseless from 30-50cm away.
1000-1500 rpm = Can be "silent" as wall clock

2000 rpm = not silent but noise itself might not be bad

3000 rpm = server
