I am not sure if this has been mentioned before, if not feel free to lock/delete/remove/burn/ban me/this topic.

 

Would it be nice if you get notifications whenever someone you follow post a new topic/reply to a topic? I know that's almost too much but why not? 

Right now I only get notifications when someone I follow post a new status update

If that happened I could possibly get 200+ notifs when I wake up and I don't want that.

Who the hell make 200 posts in a day. Well ok, there should be an option to choose what to receive

I've met a few friends here actually. I follow people I think are cool.

Well, I think that personally it wouldn't be used enough to justify it being added.

Those are less @YourMothers than I would have thought.

You already can, but it's the same follow button as following for status updates. You can choose to be notified about posts that all your followers make in your notification settings (click the cog in the notification dropdown), but that really will notify you every time any of the people you follow post anything. 

More control over what stuff you follow from each member would be nice, but it's not possible with the forum software unfortunately.
