PCI SATA2 card

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if there are SATA2/3 to PCI (not pci-e) cards ?

I need one for my older server to run SATA drives, now i have found some on ebay, but they appear to be SATA1 (as much as i can tell from the connector).

Im not sure if SATA2 drives are compatible with SATA1, would be nice if someone could clarify that for me.

don't worry, SATA is backwards compatible.

If you mean this card (http://www.ebay.com/itm/PCI-SATA-Internal-Ports-RAID-Controller-Card-4-Ports-SIL3114-Chipset-2-Cables-/261045211563?pt=US_Computer_Disk_Controllers_RAID_Cards&hash=item3cc781d1ab), then I can confirm you that is works with SATA2 and SATA3 drives.

Alright then thanks.

I really hate SATA1 connectors so flimsy.
