I gathered some data about myself. The fields with a white back are the ones clearly available already and the fields with an orange back are the ones I derived from the white fields or manually or from other sources. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like to see more data about our forum users or ourselves. Especially the posts per day would be something I'd like to see on all users by hovering a mouse above the nickname or something. That'd give a clearer image from their activity.

Old version had top posters count. The rest I'd be OK for user to see from own account. But not from others. People here are really freakishly paranoid over privacy.

I wouldn't call that privacy, anyone can do most of the math in their head if you want, just by going to a user profile.

But I don see a reason for this at all. It's not that reputation actually means anything.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Still. That would be collecting user data for researching purposes (or other purposes). Which from my understanding needs to be indicated when signing up. Or otherwise have checkbox for it in profile so user can opt out if they don't feel comfortable giving away such info. This is the very reason those paranoid people I mentioned hate Win10 which doesn't give option to opt out. It just collects data and you should feel happy about it.

I'm all for users themselves seeing that kind of data from themselves. And admins seeing same or expanded data of general forum usage for improvements. I just wouldn't make all that data generally available without making sure all users are aware that its happening.
