dont buy cheap psu or it can do the same to your pc and motherbord. i think its dead the cpu and motherbord it was asus m5a97 le r2.0 and the cpu fx 6100 and it only went up to 4.1ghz stable

Are you sure it was the PSU? Power draw will depend on the vcore, not the frequency. Although perhaps the wires were indeed too weak for any push at all (to be fair, it was a 4-pin to begin with).

No, the motherboard is garbage. It has a single 4 pin P4 connector and no VRM heatsinks.

 

I have found the PSU, it legitimately has an 80+ White certificate and it is made by Sirtech (I am not saying the PSU is not bad, just I cannot be fucked looking over it)

That is a lot. I run an FX-9370 at stock clocks (so 8x4.4GHz) wiyh 1.38v. I can't be completely sure, but 1.4v on 6 cores could indeed be too much current for those 4 pins.
