There is no reason, why do you ask? I am only going to get parts that go with the Black/Red Theme as well, so if you have any other tubing you'd suggest, remember, black or red.

I would suggest clear PrimoChill Primoflex 3/8 ID, 5/8 OD for a balance between flow rate and anti-kink. What coolant are you planning on using?

Hello, I am going to build a water cooled gaming rig, and want to know if my part selection is good.

Is there a particular reason why you went with 1/4 ID tubing? I also suggest getting the Laing D5 Vario just in case you want to change the RPM of the pump.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

The pump he recommends is the Laing D5 Vario. Companies just put a sticker on the pump, and give it a name, and some might add additional features.

Save money and get more performance by getting rid of the watercooling and adding a 290x

I know I could get the 290X, but I want to learn how to liquid cool, and be able to overclock a lot! Water cooling is much cooler too!

 

I guess I could upgrade, but I'd probably wouldn't.

Read my post. You can also go with 1/2 OD instead of 5/8. If you want a bigger sized tubing , check out 1/2 ID, 3/4 OD. That tubing size is pretty chunky.

What hardware? The CPU, GPU, etc or the watercooling stuff? You should also check out Noiseblocker fans. They have great radiator fans (120mm: PL series, eLoop series, 140mm: PK series)
