RX 480 is the best price/performance. ASUS has an all white one, but XFX has the GTR, and that performs better than a reference that has been watercooled.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

I don't have any input other than... god damn what a pretty system :D

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)

Is it better then the 1060? Because they're around the same price

Short term: No, unless NVidia drivers continue having problems crop up

Long term: Yes, AMD cards age like a fine wine that'd be devine, any time. Nvidia cards, not so much. Nvidia cards can beat out the AMD equivalent at launch, but a year later, and the reverse can (and was for the past few generations) be true.

With the RX 480, a modest OC on the memory can get it to match the 1060. However, you can't OC the 1060 to distance it again. With the GTR, you'll have ample cooling to do this.

Rx 480 = beast for the price

1060 is a bit faster but not only a bit more expensive

And for 1080p even a 1060 is close to overkill

a 480 will handle everything just fine

butt will it fit in you case with this shroud wich has the ssd on top?

you might have to getho mount the ssd :D

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

With like 3 games out, there isn't much need to mention Vulkan, yet.

So why don't people mention the RX470 if its barely behind (1-3fps) the RX480 and costs less.

Built 2 this week,,1080p Ultra/Max with 60fps+ in varied titles.... Hard games are on the mark with 60fps-70fps and lighter games to run are 60-100fps.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
